a problem that we generally suffer with is being overweight and trying to lose all the weight that we can especially during the holidays there was a research done years ago about how the membership of gyms usually we see spike right after the holidays everybody is trying to lose weight but there was an advice that wise man gave to me and he's watching outside with them he said you need to think about losing weight before you start gaining weight and unfortunately I did not follow that advice but I'm happy that today we have with us mr.
alek jamgocian who is an expert and weight loss and diet and he has the developer program for weight loss I like welcome to the podcast thank you for having me it's a pleasure to be here thank you very much tell us more about yourself mama i was born in romania and we came here when I was very young 12 years old I grew up here in bayside with the candidate recently struggled with weight my whole life I kind of put together something recently that has helped me you know lose weight and keep it off for about seven years now so you have dialed is called change or change your life diet very ambitious nature grand title yeah because it really changed my life I was struggling a lot of different weight loss systems for the past you know like you know 20 years trying to figure something out and a lot of things works for me you know in the short run a lot of Adkins and a lot of you know other different weight loss is a lot of different exercise routines but nothing really lasts that long nothing really you know had really dramatic results so you were a person who struggled with weight yeah i was i was fat as a kid people know me from the high school I was fat when i was making like 14 years old I was probably like 200 pounds and you know when you've grown up and everyone else is me and you're the fat kid that kind of you know in grade something in your head that you kind of really want to lose weight here brother I know exactly what you're talking about it I know how it feels yeah so what did you do have you change that well when I was a kid basically I got into weight training and exercising lifting weights so you know the first time I lost weight I was like 18 years old I was just through you know pretty much starting myself and I did a lot of exercising a lot of running on the street lot of treadmill to the point where I was working at the time I was working out at the time also so i did manage to lose a lot of waiting at the time i was building muscle so actually I got a really good busy and just to remind the audience if they forgot I did compete in mr.
Cardozo yeah bodybuilding competition in a minus 18 I got second place and that you're doing yeah it's huge because the whole battle was for second place that the guy who won first place he was in his own league so it was like everybody was going to win so I beat out all the popular kids and then the next year I actually uh competed in my statewide bodybuilding competition I wanted first place it was like the teenager division but then you know life gets in the way of kind of kind of get to death and so it wasn't fun for you anymore was like tours really well when you're when you're really into it and you see that you see the the progress in the results it's amazing but then just like anything else if you really into something for many many years eventually lose interest and especially if you reach your goals so my goal wasn't necessarily to continue to be more muscular just you know I just don't want to get fat again ok so and it is hard we're going to gym all the time and lifting weights especially when you've done it for so many years for six years I did it like many hours every single day so but i still had bad you know genetics and like Abbott Abbott so by the time I got into I mid-twenties I was I started getting weighed against OB but I like no no I'm not gonna get fat again and I tried all these you know techniques to lose weight because you look I'll be honest you know I want the shortcut I don't wanna I don't want to eat you know chicken broccoli and run on the treadmill every day for the rest of my life just to keep my weight down so I want to find a shortcut so like what i would do is i would pretty much like once a year I would you like some diet like atkins or something else that was parked at a time and I would lose you know 10 12 15 pounds feel good about yourself yeah like usual on the springtime and then I would eventually gained the weight back over the the summer the winter time and then i would try another diet but the thing was I would keep gaining weight you know more and more as the years went on so when I was when I was in my mid-twenties you know I made in like a hundred pounds hundred ninety pounds in my mid-thirties I was like 210 215 and just kept getting worse and worse something I gotta I gotta figure something out so that's why I can experiment with a few different things i kinda develop my system where with other dies i would lose like I said like 1015 pounds and gain it back on this one I lost 50 pounds 500 yeah now i'm also a hundred sixty-five right now and I topped out is by 2 15 and I've kept it off for about seven years now and it's amazing i tried to help I try to tell people about my system and it works you know it's a little difficult to wrap your head around because it it's you know the main basis is fasting and evening which it's difficult for a lot of people to the grasp and to accept that they got it not eat you know late at night because it's just so enjoyable or you could just figure out a way to to adjust your schedule so that you can do that you're going to lean the rest of your life for those who are concerned like I have a very busy lifestyle how can i implement this diet in my life how can I avoid going out and having dinner at night yeah what would you tell them this is the solution to permanent weight loss so if you if you know that and you want to if you want to be mean you have to you know make an effort to try to adjust your schedule to to to accommodate that so there's a few things you can do a lot of people i know you're too busy they get a plate they race out of the house to make it to work on time you know you don't have a good breakfast you don't know busy at work all day they don't eat right and then they come home and have a nice big dinner for the TV and a strike all night long because it's no that's when they have time but you know what i sees everyone has the time to wake up 15 minutes early make yourself a good breakfast you know what i say is that you have to feed your body before you're going to use it okay if you had a big breakfast eat if you need a big lunch you're gonna your body's gonna burn that fuel and your body needs calories that is gonna burn for the rest of the day and you could pretty much be very lenient with what you choose to eat for breakfast and for lunch you could you could allow yourself to have your favorite foods you could allow yourself to have not the healthiest things if it's earlier in the day and it's almost killed free because your body will burn it off now on the other hand what you eat at night has so much to do with how much weight you're going to put on and you're losing weight or gain weight so if you know that you have to try to make an effort to to adjust your schedule not even what I used to do is that like i said i have a nice big breakfast if you have a job where you know here in Manhattan or instead you go out have a big lunch but I always always bring plenty of snacks with me it could be you know like granola bars or even yogurt but if you want to live healthier you can have a bananas apples and you're the fruit and a lot of knots knots are really good for for snacking on fiber they have the good kind of healthy fats that keep your body satisfied so you don't get hungry so basically from the time you wake up till let's say the mid-afternoon there's absolutely no reason to let yourself go hungry anytime you want you know if your office environment you know if you have a pretty frigerator or not you can keep a keep fruits handy you know sometimes all the three four bananas throughout the day I snacks in between my meals just too because why not because you can get away with it you know you're rewarding yourself too early in the day and your kind of sacrificing and being more stringent late in the day late in the evening so your diet is called change your life yeah and I know it's about two things it's about changing your lifestyle basically right that's the first change and subsequently once you change your lifestyle it will start seeing results on your body so tell us how people can get your diet it's changed your life diet.

Com channel would have thought right and yet the reason i named it that was like i said i was struggling for so many years with all these different diets that barely gave me you know any results and then I tried this and I'm just amazed how incredible results were and how fast the weight loss was and personally how how natural felting for me to eat because you can you could eat a lot in the morning and then you burn it off and then you go to bed on an empty stomach and you lose a lot of weight so you can really allow yourself to get a lot of foods that might not even be that healthy but you burn it off also another thing I really changed my life was the how long it lasted and when you accept the fact that this works and you have to stick to the schedule is very easy to stay when one of your most recent videos we were speaking about the balance between eating and exercising yeah so what's the balance tell our listeners how much isn't diet and how much is that exercise look at the common knowledge is that it's eighty percent died twenty percent of exercise we're kind of trained to think that you know diet and exercise go hand-in-hand you have to go to the gym you have to go to the good gym and run on a treadmill to be healthy I mean there are a lot of health benefits to exercising it's good for you it's good for your body because it's good for me mentally but my opinion is you know why go to a gym and run on a treadmill and wait in line to use those machines where you just go outside and go for a walk now I personally choose recreation and maybe sports as you know as an activity as physical activity rather than you know going to a gym and I guess the phase one of my system which is pretty much just I'm just sticking to the structure and sticking to the schedule beginning plan and what is beneficial is that the long-term aspect of it is that you can stick to this for a long time because you are allowed to eat a lot of your favorite foods every day just have to do it in in the morning time and it is a little challenging to get used to at first but if you accept the fact that this is going to keep you leave for the rest of your life and you just have to stick to you can't go back to eating a nice big dinner and smacking afterwards that that's going to be the solution that you've been kinda searching for this is the phase one of the plan when you lose it like about eighty percent of your target weight loss and when you're ready to go to face-to-face to is pretty much about learning about health nutrition there's a lot of money to be made in feeding us food that's going to keep us fat and then making you think you have to go to the gym to get a membership to burn it off when all you really need to do is I guess learn about the right types of food to eat and and kind of the right eating structure so that the trend of real real food is kind of catching on I mean when you're ready to get into your healthy eating that's when you should I guess go to this phase two of the plan which is pretty much about eliminating a lot of unhealthy foods and just learning how to eat healthy foods because the point is that you know the people that all the food that's out there in the supermarket and the restaurants like it it's going to get you fat by design it's meant to tempt you it's meant to taste really really good so that you come back and eat more and your people don't have a vested interest in giving you nutrition investment interest in meeting with something that looks good that tastes good that has you coming back for more like for example let's take let's say coca-cola it has caffeine it has sugar it has sodium and it has historic acid now if you don't know why all those ingredients are there let's take caffeine caffeine first is a stimulant and it's addictive so they either in there too you know it take you to get you to buy more and it's also a diuretic which gets you to lose water and to urinate so what they do is they add sodium to that so what happened to the add sodium when you're already losing water you become thirsty year ok so there their plan is to get you to drink this stuff to lose water and to get thirsty here so in they they need to mask the taste of the sodium with sugar because it was if you tasted all that sodium salt flavor you wouldn't buy it will be sickening so they add so much sugar to mask the flavor of the salt but the problem with that is when you add that much sugar to something he becomes sickening so if you if you try to eat that much sugar by itself you would get sick and nauseous that's going to add the phosphoric acid because the phosphoric acid is an anti-nausea medication so if you think about to what lengths these food companies go to put these products out there that they really want to manipulate you so you buy the product so you do drink more of it so it was about three weeks ago they reached out to you and I said that i'm interested in your weight-loss program and here's my story Alec last year I was another program I lost a significant amount of weight but similar to your previous stories my weight started to coming back again but for the past three weeks i have been implementing your diet system loosely not there religiously and I have dropped about six pounds of this morning so I am willing to take this challenge and continue to use your system ok and i guess for our precious they are going to see some changes if this is working or not right my pressure on you know didn't make a lot of pressure which are willing to take yeah for personal and selfish reasons like I want to be healthy i want to listen now you can't back out of it now no I can't it is official is on the podcast and I encourage encourage my listeners to go on the website and
